The PoppyPink performance is a site-specific, durational piece in which the artist walks through a public space wearing a pink knitted dress that unravels as she moves, leaving a trail of thread behind. The audience is invited to follow her, matching her pace—walking when she walks and stopping when she stops. They may engage with the thread by touching or pulling it. At the conclusion of the walk, the artist stands at the end of the thread trail and invites participants to approach her individually. She cuts a piece of thread from the remaining dress and ties it around each participant's wrist.
