The "Spell" exhibition (February 2020, Rishon Lezion Art Gallery) featured three interactive shrines dedicated to various aspects of the human experience. Each shrine served as an active altar, inviting visitors to participate in reflection, prayer, and meditation rituals.

  • The Art Shrine: This shrine celebrates creativity and inspiration. It was centered around a shipping crate adorned with whimsy, colorful found objects, including toys. Visitors could offer a donation, take a matchbox, and light a candle in "The Longing Shrine."

  • The Longing Shrine: A contemplative space inspired by the ocean and composed of natural organic found objects, this shrine was dedicated to the theme of longing. Visitors were invited to light a candle and pray for someone or something they had lost, creating a deeply personal and emotional experience.

  • The Sweet Dreams Shrine: Centered around a wooden clock with fantasy childish creatures on top and a variety of colored thread on the bottom, covered by a pink canopy, the shrine allowed visitors to select a thread, tie it around their wrist with assistance, and make a wish, engaging in a simple yet meaningful ritual.

Through audience participation, "Spell" transformed the gallery into a sacred, immersive space, fostering a sense of mysticism and connection between the artist, the artwork, and the viewers. The exhibition exemplified the intersection of art, spirituality, faith, and audience interaction.
